Grappling, Judo and Jiu Jitsu, and MMA have become enormously popular around the world among people of all ages and is a credible and attractive way of engaging the attention of young people, especially men of all ages, in providing a platform to share the Gospel. Reaching out to the people of the Birmingham-Ensley area through Grappling, Judo and Jiu Jitsu does nothing for lost souls if our efforts to connect are not accompanied with the preaching of the gospel, which is the clear gospel priority of Judo & Jiu Jitsu for Jesus.

Besides empowering young people with the Gospel of the risen Lord Jesus Christ, Judo & Jiu Jitsu for Jesus educates young people and adults on self-defense, the importance of nutrition, avoidance of drug abuse and crime, and the development of godly life skills.

One of our ministry challenges now is lack of funds for construction, kimonos (Gi) and NoGi rash guards and exercise and martial arts equipment. We appeal to BJJ schools, churches and other sports ministries to donate to us used and new sports equipment and funds for coordination of this ministry.
